OUR PURPOSE:

CUPS / CAFÉ is a connecting place where guests can expect to find:

• Coffee
• Comfort
• Conversation...and so much more.

CUPS / CAFÉ will operate as a free, non-profit 501 c3 community café to connect:

• physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs with free resources.
• young people and families to Jesus Christ.
• young people and families to His Church.

CUPS / CAFÉ will serve:

• free CUPS of coffee, tea, & hot chocolate.
• free CUPS of water, kool-aid, iced tea, & milk.
• free CUPS of soup.
• free sandwiches, popcorn, breads, bagels, cereal, & desserts.
• free bibles, prayer, other literature.
• Jesus through our work and to our guests.
• Hope - one cup at a time.

CUPS / CAFÉ will accomplish these connections by: Serving Hope - one cup at a time.

CUPS / CAFÉ is not a Church. It's the Church in action. The Apostle John wrote, "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but in action and in truth" (NIV, 1 John 3:18).

Unfortunately, many people will never darken the doors of a church but they will walk into a coffee shop, restaurant, or cafe. The café is a vehicle for the Church (God’s People) to have a more visible presence and greater impact in serving the community and reaching those in need of the Good News.

It’s a simple concept:

• God’s people volunteer to serve at the café.
• A guest walks in the front door.
• A volunteer warmly greets, welcomes, and serves the guest.
• The volunteer and guest develop a friendship.
• Once a trusting relationship is established, the volunteer connects the guest to resources, and to Jesus, and His Church.
